For this groundbreaking project, DCS Networks were to create a solution for the cell site that would be built indoors using the existing infrastructure of EE, to demonstrate the full capability of the network for a live demonstration at an event at the ExCeL Arena.
This was a project that had never been attempted before and required DCS to work with several stakeholders across the globe on an extremely tight deadline.
Not only were the Fibres to be installed in both internal and external locations across the site, but they faced potential trampling due to the 1,000+ workers around them.
As part of the immaculate service DCS provided, we ensured that the stakeholders around the world were provided with detailed and accurate updates on agreed timescales.
The project was hugely successful, with all the works completed on time and to an exceptional standard. The installation even featured as a success story in relevant magazines and online, proving the significance of DCS’s accomplishment. They were recognised as a pivotal role within the construction and have since been asked to work on special projects with ‘high risk, high reward’ for the client.
